For a thrilling yet safe experience, consider spending a day at Andamanda Phuket. This family-friendly attraction features slides, a lazy river, and play areas designed specifically for children.
- Dining Options
Phuket’s culinary scene is as varied as its attractions. For a family-friendly dining experience, head to the Old Phuket Town, where you can sample traditional Thai dishes in a vibrant and historic setting. Many restaurants offer kid-friendly menus and high chairs, making dining with young ones stress-free.
Don’t forget to try the local street food markets, where you can indulge in everything from pad Thai to mango sticky rice. The lively atmosphere and diverse food options will make it an enjoyable outing for the entire family. And if the kids really aren’t keen on the Thai food you will also find all the large international food chains like KFC, Burger King and McDonalds.
- Tips for a Smooth Vacation
To make the most of your family vacation, have a think about renting a car. It’s cheap and provides flexibility and convenience, especially when traveling with young children. If you have the budget and a larger family it may be worth hiring a passenger van with a driver. This will surprisingly work out fairly economical.
One more big tip is to always have a backup plan for rainy days if you are visiting during the rainy season. Indoor activities like the Trickeye Museum or the Phuket Bird Park can keep the kids entertained when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Lastly, remember to pack essentials such as sunscreen, hats, and mosquito repellent. Staying hydrated and taking breaks during the day will ensure everyone remains comfortable and energized.
