Five Places to Visit in Bromont in the Summer

Bromont is about an hour southwest from Montreal in the Eastern Townships with an area famous for mountain biking, multipurpose trails, water slides, and cultural events. Parc des Sommets

Parc de Sommets is a vast green space that includes 140 km of paths for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and running. People can take advantage of free access to the park. The Bromont Tourist Information office has map and trail locations. The Ondago app is also available to offer access to interactive maps while offline.

Divertigo

For children, Divertigo is perhaps the most interesting new activity. This mountainside wooden structure has 40 aerial activities including a nine-metre mega swing, three zip-lines that take participants on a 750-metre adventure, a climbing wall, and a 12-metre free-fall drop. Divertigo can be found near the water park in Bromont. It is open in May and features an adventure course divided into four sections.

National Cycling Centre

Cycling is a famous activity in Bromont and the Eastern Townships. Bromont houses the National Cycling Centre that rents out all kinds of bikes and even lends out balance bikes for free for small children learning the basics. People at the centre can ride in the velodrome, cycle on different paths in the area, or try out a pump truck or BMX. Other places to rent bikes include Bromont Ski Centre and Boutique Ubac on Bromont Blvd.

This water park features more than 20 aquatic and land activities. It features miles of waterslides, downhill rafting, and exciting alpine luges. From May to October, the water park provides the biggest mountain biking area in Eastern Canada. Its mountain bike parks covers over 50 km with 22 Downhill trails, 5 learning circuits, 10 Enduro circuits, offering total access to riders of all levels.
